Once the front of your mail item is scanned into the platform, your mail will begin its life cycle in the Inbox. From there you can request actions on any given mail item. Once you have selected an action on a given mail item, for instance, to have it forwarded to another address, the mail item will automatically fall into the Pending folder. It will sit there until the operator has completed your requested action. Upon completion, it will be moved to the Completed folder.
At any time in the mail's life cycle, you can move a mail item into the Archive or Trash folder. This is simply for your own organization and does not trigger any actions with your operator. Mail items in the Archive folder will never be deleted. The Trash folder will be emptied of items older than 30 days.
Please note, if you choose to have a mail item opened and scanned, you must choose a final action for the mail item after you view the contents. If you do not choose a final action (recycle, shred, etc.) storage fees may apply.
